Big Tree Blueberry Bramble Cocktail Recipe
20 ml Elegant Dry Gin
20 ml Blueberry Thrill Gin
30 ml Lemon Juice
15 ml Simple syrup (one part sugar to one part water)
15 ml Chambord Liqueur
Fresh berries to garnish (e.g. 1 blackberry and a few blueberries)
2 tablespoons of blueberry syrup
Make the blueberry syrup first to set aside and cool. To make the syrup, cook 250grams of fresh or frozen blueberries with half a cup of water, 30ml of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of sugar until berries are soft and sugar is dissolved. Blend to a syrup consistency.
For the cocktail, mix together the gins, lemon juice and simple syrup. Fill a tumbler glass with ice and pour over the cocktail mix. Top the glass with packed crushed snow ice and then spoon over 2 tablespoons of the blueberry syrup and drizzle over the Chambord. Top with fresh berries.
