Big Tree Chilli Lime Gimlet Cocktail Recipe

40 ml Big Tree Claude Navy Strength Gin

30 ml Fresh Lime Juice

20 ml Simple Syrup (one part sugar, one part water)

Combine all the ingredients into your cocktail shaker and shake with ice vigorously.

To add extra complexity and flavour to your cocktail dust the rim of your cocktail glass with lime chilli dust. (rub the rim of the glass with a wedge of lime before dipping in the chilli lime dust)

Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with a dehydrated chilli lime wheel.

(If you would like to add some heat this is an optional extra, add a slice of fresh chilli to the shaker or sprinkle a few chilli flakes over the top before serving).
